Welcome to Clarence House Residential Home
Clarence House is a comprehensively equipped 29 bed private residential care home serving Dorset and surrounding areas. The home is registered under the Health and Social Care Act 2008, with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and received a two star "good" rating at the last inspection.
We are delighted to announce that we are now able to welcome residents who suffer with dementia. We have implemented many aspects of design within the home to assist sufferers including the use of lighting, colours, signage and other facilities, and even a circular footpath. All staff have had appropriate training and senior staff have undertaken industry leading dementia and mental health training programmes.
The home is dedicated to the provision of the finest care for its residents. This is achieved through an outstanding modern environment and a dedicated team of staff who provide first class standards of care. The home is a modern, purpose built building ideally suited to the needs of its residents with ample day space, many single ensuite bedrooms and two twin ensuite bedrooms, one of which is a large luxury suite with its own conservatory, which houses a private lounge and dining area - please see The Dudsbury Suite.
There is a light and airy lounge/dining room with access to the garden and patio. Bedrooms are well equipped with light wood furniture, attractive soft furnishings and feature a Nursecall system and wheelchair access.
We are situated in an especially quiet location in Ferndown with good road and rail access from surrounding areas.
Our cooks provide a varied menu using fresh local produce. Additional services provided include:
