An inspector from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) visited Clarence House on 15 June to undertake a Random Inspection and their inspection report is published today. The report is favourable on nearly all areas inspected with particularly positive comments on assessing residents' needs before they move into the home, care planning, cleanliness and the staff recruitment process which ensures we only have high quality people looking after our residents.New owners at Clarence House

In March 2010 Clarence House was acquired by Nick Meyer and David Henson. Nick and David already have two other homes, in Devon and Hertfordshire (see links on home page), where they have invested in new rooms and facilities, and have similar plans for Clarence House. As with their other homes the goals are to maintain the best possible care staff and provide outstanding levels of care for all residents in first class facilities.
